Microdots
Microdot's DNA are ultra-small discs, made from polymer or metal, each embedded with a unique alphanumeric code.
This code is registered to the property owner, offering a semi-covert way to mark and identify valuable assets.
The Microdot DNA Asset Marking technology can be attached to any item or asset, making the information immutable and tamper free.
In the event of theft, loss or counterfeiting it provides real-time ownership details ensuring complete transparency.
If an asset is stolen, criminals often tamper with or remove the manufacturer’s serial numbers, plates, or metal stampings.
However, when scanned with the mobile app, a “SUCCESS” result instantly links the NanoTag to the registered owner and can flag its “STOLEN” status,
either on your platform or through databases used by law enforcement or insurance companies.
TINY SIZE
Microdot DNA sizes vary from 0.7mm to 1.0mm.Up to 7000 dots are sprayed or brushed on to high value assets.
Anything from motor vehicles, heavy machinery to home assets and electronics.

One Microdot contains up to 17 (metal) or 34 (polymer) characters of data.
Data is scanned using a custom AI reader interfaced to your chosen database

NanoTag’s are quickly applied to any surface (except fabric/clothing).
TWO TYPES OF DOTS
Each Microdot gives any item or component a unique and permanent identity. A single batch contains between 1,000 and 7,000 dots, each etched with a unique Security Identification Code (SIC). E.g. each dot displays either a vehicle’s full VIN or a unique PIN that is matched to the VIN in a database.
POLYMER DOTS
Store up to 34 alphanumeric characters.
Perfect if you need to display more information and don’t require extreme heat resistance or sun-fade resistance. Most used by automotive / motorcycle /scooter manufacturers worldwide.
Theft rates fell by much as 80+% for vehicles marked with 5,000 – 10,000 dots.
METAL DOTS
Store up to 17 alphanumeric characters.
Highly heat-resistant and more durable (no fading) than polymer dots, making them ideal for demanding environments. Nickel-based octagons, 6–10 microns thick, available in 0.7 mm diameters.

RESISTANCE
The metal tags on their own are extremely robust and chemically resistant. They can withstand temperatures of over 1,000°C without oxidizing and have a melting point of 1,453°C.
